Bidets

The Regal Sanitary

As early as the Queen of Naples Maria Carolina D'Asburgo-Lorena in the second half of the 1700s wanted to bring the bidet to the palace of Caserta, understanding its aesthetic importance while ignoring the etiquette of the time, only to find an effective placement in Italian homes after World War II.
Invented in France, little is known about the date of its birth and its inventor, but the earliest records date back to 1710, when Christophe Des Rosiers, its alleged inventor, installed it at the home of the French royal family.

Born as a common object in environments generally known as "latrines," it arrived in homes as an important aid to hygiene and design in an era when care and cleanliness for the body found an important location within the habits of human beings.

Design, for convenience and hygiene

The bidet is a toilet usually composed of ceramic with many versions such as for example resin and is connected to the plumbing pipes for loading and unloading water, functioning exactly like a washbasin; in fact the possibility of being able to be accompanied by a faucet, can make the image of both the bathroom, and the sanitary, complete to the eye.

It is presented today with different installations, from floor-mounted to wall-mounted, presenting different lines with the ability to succeed in lightening the line in terms of design and at the same time enriching the hygienic environments, where these important sanitary fittings find their place of belonging.

Numerous are the "bins" (another name by which to recognize the sanitary ware) on our site with the ability to adapt to any environment, managing to accompany the style of the toilet without eclipsing its leading role in terms of design, thanks to their many shapes, colors, materials and installations available.

Among the most important brands present on our site, we find Ceramica CieloFlaminiaGessi ( companies that make the processing of ceramics and their predisposition to bring the "made in Italy" their strong point ), which, thanks to their laboratories always evolving and their designers, will surely be able to satisfy every type of environmental need, managing to recommend the best solution for each customer.

Richard McClintock, a Latin scholar from Hampden-Sydney College, is credited with discovering the source behind the ubiquitous filler text. In seeing a sample of lorem ipsum, his interest was piqued by consectetur—a genuine, albeit rare, Latin word. Consulting a Latin dictionary led McClintock to a passage from De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum (“On the Extremes of Good and Evil”), a first-century B.C. text from the Roman philosopher Cicero.
