Mutina

THE COMPANY

Intuition.
There is no better word to briefly describe Mutina.

It was 2005 when the company decided to challenge the dogmas of the world of ceramics, venturing into a path never before trodden by anyone else in the sector.
An innovative path, made of creativity and experimentation, traced by the greatest designers who, for the first time, found themselves measuring themselves against the world of ceramic coverings.

Mutina tiles is an author project, developed together with a team made of heterogeneous voices with a common denominator: a unique vision.
The collaboration with professionals of the caliber of Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Konstantin Grcic, Nathalie Du Pasquier, Hella Jongerius, Laboratorio Avallone, OEO Studio, Raw Edges, Inga Sempé, Tokujin Yoshioka and Patricia Urquiola stems from a relationship of friendship and great mutual respect, but also from a challenge: experimenting with an’infinite range of textures and colors, from neutral and delicate until to those more bold and vibrant. All this without ever forgetting the obsessive search for the maximum possible enhancement of the ceramic material.

Is Mutina style, which beyond any evolution and aesthetic interpretation, maintains over time a strong and clear identity, aimed at the meticulous care of material quality. Mutina tiles are of high quality, innovative but balanced, inviting to feel, perceive, see, touch. A sensory involvement at 360°.

The Edilceram Design team recommends the collections Azulej, Dechirer, Pico, Puzzle, Primavera and Rombini.
