Fantini: High-quality Faucets for Bathroom and Kitchen
Fantini, a company founded in 1947 on Lake Orta, in Italy, represents today one of the leading exporters of items for Bango, such as, faucets, accessories and shower components.
Richard McClintock, a Latin scholar from Hampden-Sydney College, is credited with discovering the source behind the ubiquitous filler text. In seeing a sample of lorem ipsum, his interest was piqued by consectetur—a genuine, albeit rare, Latin word. Consulting a Latin dictionary led McClintock to a passage from De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum (“On the Extremes of Good and Evil”), a first-century B.C. text from the Roman philosopher Cicero.

Environmental Commitment and Mission

Today, Fantini represents a meeting point between innovation and design thanks to its flagship collections such as I Balocchi, born in the 1970s, and many collections born thanks to the union of several companies such as Aboutwater with Boffi and Fontane Bianche, born from the union of Fantini and Salvatori's ideas, where, thanks to their desire to combine creativity and technology, they give life to archetypal geometric shapes reinterpreted in a modern key.
Ecological Quality and Safety
Coming to the present day, the company offers articles from numerous bathroom items, from faucets to accessories for washbasins, tubs and showers, respecting the quality of ecology, health and safety by proposing items "incapable" of oxidizing, thanks in part to the low presence of lead, a fundamental point of Fantini's mission, creating products with a percentage of 0.25 percent despite the fact that European regulations are firm at 2.25 percent.
High Quality Finishes
The many finishes available for faucets help these high-quality products fit into any décor thanks to their elegant and sophisticated presence; the most important finish, PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) indicates the technology used for the deposition of thin metal films on different types of substrates. The PVD finish is particularly valued for its characteristics of hardness, strength, inalterability, maximum corrosion resistance, excellent scratch and abrasion resistance (twice as good as galvanic chrome plating), impervious to solvents, acids or alkalis and to anti-scale products used for domestic use, and inalterability to UV light.
